With Northeast Delhi witnessing a lot of turmoil post tragic riots and killings over CAA-NRC, TV actress Kritika Kamra, expressed being disheartened with the images and stories making its way to the internet. The actress in her tweet hopes for peace and also defeating hatred step by step, making it a better place to live in
Bollywood celebs taking to their social networking accounts spoke about the Northeast of Delhi, burning in the fire over CAA-NRC. As per the latest reports, around 40 people were declared dead and 200 people injured in this ongoing protest. With just a tense situation on a rise, TV actress Kritika Kamra has tweeted about this worrying situation in the capital asking for peace and hoping to sail through these hard times. Her post instantly got re-tweeted and many Twitter users also supported her take.
The actress mentioned in her tweet of being heartbroken with the images and stories making its way to the internet. She also mentions how the world can be a better place if we take one step at a time and defeat hatred. Her tweet reads, “Heartbreaking images and stories. This is a result of the hate for “the other” that is so deeply embedded in our collective conscience. If we want a better world, each one of us will have to step up and defeat this hatred. Standing with her on solidity one of the Twitter users wrote, “True each of us blame each other and politicians etc. The first thing that India needs is to eliminate the concept of others and need to be open minded. While talking about the Delhi riots or any social catastrophe its us who sees in the colours of hindus and muslims. Thats the core”
